Thread regarding ExxonMobil Corp. layoffs

Are we a better company then we were nine months ago?

After the layoffs, the fake failed PIPs, firings...has anything, and I mean ANYTHING improved?

According to my arrogant boss, yes we are a better company after laying off and firing people through sh–ty process. Keep checking your pension balance is what he keeps saying all the time.

The company that never shared about PIP process openly before is now forced to do that. Why? Because they care and love employees? If you can answer this you have the answer.

According to Darren Woods, we are.. based on his bank account. It is all relative.. please practice your diversity and inclusive mindset!

DW is looking forward to better pay and RSUs this year. Last year, when performance was absolutely piss poor, he maintained his RSUs. This year, given the financials have improved due to oil raising back to above $60 (and his radical moves), fully justifying an increase in pay and RSUs. Long story short, management committee is now enjoying their jobs again, after seeing many lose their through layoffs and PIPs. Thanks for your contributions guys!

Much stronger. Capex reduced and focused. Impairments taken. Opex reduced. Balance sheet greatly improved. Shareholders happy. More improvement promised. Giving the EM hating s—lings opportunity to go elsewhere. Bravo DW, Bravo.
