Vacation payout?

For those who quit, how does unused vacation get handled? Do you get it paid out? And also do you get to keep your Roth 401k account if you quit or do they just write you a check of the balance?

Thank you

My supervisor approved my carryover vacation. I didn’t use any vacation in 2021. I got paid for unused carryover and vacation days a few weeks after last day. You can keep your 401k as it is. You can also create a rollover IRA/Roth IRA on a brokerage like Vanguard, and follow the instructions to transfer the money.

Somebody else hopefully responds here about vacation. Your 401k is always yours - if you’ve been with the company for 3 years or more the company match is fully vested, otherwise it is not.

You might want to look into setting up your own savings account outside the company. Then call voya once your off the xom books and ask them about rolling over your 401k.
