Working from home has us working harder and harder as Allstate’s upper management tells us we don’t have to drive to shops anymore so they doubled the workload and performance metrics in an effort to make up forthe thousands of adjusters they layed off. It’s taken a toll on my family life , physically and mental well being . Last year I was mentally stable but weekly huddles with impossibly High performance expectations making us work 6-7 days a week just makes adjusters feel like no matter what we do they’ll demand more . It’s their fault we don’t have proper staffing in place not ours .

There will come a day when Allstate is a distant memory. When that day comes, we will all remember what a rotten despicable trick they played on their American employees ....in the worst pandemic in a century. They played us, took advantage of our loyalty and outright lied. Remember when they said “we’ll get through this together” ...and “we’re all in this together “ ? Made a lot of us feel a sigh of relief that in a pandemic, when family members were losing jobs in the restaurant businesses and others were getting ill with the virus and some died who we knew, we could think wow, I work for a great company ....it’s going to be okay. Well, No. Instead it’s personality and puzzle test time followed by painful layoffs and more pandemic. Oh, and don’t forget the best part, jobs being moved overseas to India super fast. They bailed on America. Thanks Allstate. No, we will never forget what you did and why. How the leaders at the top threw out many great employees like trash because they couldn’t think of any creative way to save money. Now, here we go again..... what pain is ahead for Allstate employees this week ? Lay offs and closures and more work piled on? April 1st ? Perfect day to “fool” us with more lies. We will always remember what they did and how they did it. The worst insurance company in America. Allstate.

There is this little thing called "at will employment". You don't have to stay at Allstate, you are free to apply elsewhere and get a job that doesn't cause you as much stress.
