This company has put us in such a c-appy position. The work environment is so toxic and there is so much bullying going on that it’s becoming unbearable to work here. It’s affecting my mental health and it’s affecting my physical health. I’m starting to wonder if it would be healthier for me to quit even without a new job lined up rather than to stay here any longer. Even such a situation seems like a better and less stressful option right now. It’s sad but that’s where I am at right now.

Don't quit. In most states, you won't be able to file for unemployment if you do.
Maybe you should get to work and stop wasting time crying on this message board.
Mental health leave with 5 weeks off at 100% pay. AskHR is the place to start the process, you will be given paperwork to bring to your doctor. Always look out for you, no one else is.
It is a planned laid out design to break people to the point of mental and physical health problems to make us give up and quit. They don't give a damn about us and if they can break and ruin us to save money on their end then they win. Look at how they treat their customers in terms of claims and immoral risk assessment and premium determinations. They have already publicly said we the employees are a "financial liability" in earnings calls so their tactics now should be of no surprise. Also of no surprise us their metrics and occurrence manipulation that is currently underway so the can fire us for cause instead of laying off.
1) Contact your health provider and see if you can get STD due to the stress. 2)Make certain you have copies of your performance evaluations, prior results, any prior kudos/recognition. 3) Job hunt while you are on STD.
They are trying to make people quit. The best thing you can do is get your resume out there and get the hell out, or keep your metrics up and get a severance in a couple months.
It is by design...
“Make them quit before we need to pay expense in laying them off.”
This leadership team is insidious..
