Thread regarding IBM layoffs

The bottom line is...

We are all just numbers on a spreadsheet, nothing more than resources to discard once we’ve outlived our usefulness. Make sure to always have your resume up to date, grow your network and for goodness sake - put enough away “just in case”. Bare minimum will not do. I learned the hard way in the last round of layoffs. Thank god I was able to find employment soon afterwards.
