Sometimes I just don't get whether we, the remaining employees, are more lost or our manager who obviously is. It is clear to everyone that he no longer knows what he is doing, but pretends that he still things under control.
He pretends very badly to know what he is doing and the situation has really become desperate.
My only hope is to get a new job as soon as possible.

The management has become a toxic culture. We had a Murch manager, whose wife was pregnant, fooling around with a part timer. He thought it was a big secret. She went around bragging about it.
TN?

All the managers and middle managers are lost in this place most or do nothing a–holes who have been employed for decades can’t stand any of them
What exactly do you mean when you say your manager is lost? Are you suggesting that has has no idea on how to improve store traffic, increase sales, etc? Or are you suggesting that he doesn't have a clue on how to implement this Daunt idea about how to make BN stores more locally focused? Or is it all of this and more? So he just mopes around taking his frustration out on everybody.
I hope the company shutdowns this summer and all the backstabbing management can't find jobs!
That’s our situation in TN.
