She is one of the better leaders we have at Exxon. Smart, hard working and she has a big impact.

I just graduated college with a journalism degree and need to get a scoop.
Who is TG?
We need an external CEO.. any internally appointed ones.. won’t work..
Regrettably EM “model” doesn’t value functional depth or competence. Not a requirement for the job. You could lead IT one day, Support Services next day, Research the following day and so on. Fast rotation through every job means no accountability or no time to develop depth and strategic thinking in any.
@dfw+1a2qZ9AZ her time in GSC was short and her impact was minimal to none, at least on the EMIT side. She didn’t put up with MSB’s BS which to be honest was refreshing.
LDC will be a disaster, worse than Tillersen and Woods so maybe LDC is next then.
What’s your point in posting this? Stop using initials like an infantile.
Couldnt have said it any better than @dfw+1a2qZ9AZ
I agree with you that LDC is younger and she talks and looks more like a human (“charismatic” per xom standard). BUT she was president of the global service company . please reflect on your experience with EMIT (which was under her leadership) and tell me how you feel about her becoming the CEO
Swiger turns 65 this year; who will replace him? All of the current presidents are too old. Look at your EVPs & SrVPs to leap up fast...
I really don't think she's in the running. Her experience is far too narrow as an entry level exec in S&T for many years, and seems like she was put in a cushy role as caretaker over in HR to ride out to retirement.
My bet would be on LDC from Upstream. Far broader experience, younger, and a lot more charismatic.
LoL. Most of the folks from data science have found better opportunities. The imbecile taklu supervisor is fooling upper management that attrition is common in India while the real reason people are leaving is coz of systemic issues.
How come there is not enough representation here from our dear friends in Bangalore, Curitiba, Argentina, KL, etc.? I wonder why? I guess Bangalore is enjoying their new state of the art cafeteria promoted and marketed by Naveen Shukla on LinkedIn. I guess this is their way to lure in poor laborers and slaves in India. How about Curitiba, Argentina, Bangkok, KL? What is the company selling to you all to continue slavery?
I doubt on this men and white environment there is no space for women.
The only reason why they have some on the top is because they need to present diversity but we know all BS.
Omg! Nooooo! If TG takes over then it will be end of employee freedom! Forget slavery but she will introduce employees chained to their desks while they serve her. If she doesnt get served per her orders she will keep chopping off those heads. TG in my opinion is worst class leader than even DW. Didnt know TG worked for DW before but knowing that I am not surprised the destruction both of these leaders have caused at XOM. DW has destroyed company value and equally TG has destroyed employees in any ways possible. Fire both! If not, this company is not recovering.
That’s silly. She was a relatively small fish selected for HR VP by Darren in 2017. She used to work for him in R&S S&T.
A very bad early decision by Darren and everyone else knew it at the time.
The rest is history. Scorched earth HR...Winning!!
OMG OP may be right as TG is at the right age and is a DW scphyophant. This is absolutely frightening. If DW and the top 20% do not deep six us by 2027, TG certainly will shortly thereafter.
Interesting projection but I won’t be working for EM by 2027, I will have either quit because I can’t deal with the depressing and toxic culture or been forced out by then....assume 99% of people on this forum will be the same
