Thread regarding Sam's Club layoffs

Good things not seen, bad things exaggerated?

Managers are just there to supervise and punish, to look for errors and omissions and perform micromanagement. They are never there to see when something is well done. Everything that is good is ignored or taken for granted, and every bad little thing is often blown out of proportion. I’ve come to terms with that long time ago and while I’m here I try not to take things very personally.

Micromanagement is over the top right now starting at the corporate level and trickling down.

I’m not sure what this kangaroo dingbat knows about retail but it seems like very little.

There used to be a clear direction like digital or happy to help, but now it seems like the regional managers and above are just making up new nonsense rules at every different visit.

That is the only time our managers are seen. To tell you what you need to do, send you belittling emails, condescend for this that and the other. GM sends emails.... Why are we 4th???? You are better than this. Figure it out! I expect more! You're people are doing this! Fix it. You s— so get better or get bent.

Yes master.
