The Ford family benefits more from Ford contracts, business and relationships than from the stock.
I once had way too much time on my hands and did a dead dive into the financials, it was eye opening to see the money flows which benefited the Ford family.

There hasn’t been any dividend in over a year. And with a 2021 of almost zero profit, there won’t be a dividend any time soon. I can’t imagine how the Ford family is affording their Grey Poupon.

It still can't break out of the 12s. Your money is just spinning its wheels with this one.

Enjoy the dividend.......

What is driving the stock price? Pure speculation. Wall Street is Vegas for billionaires.

I guess I have to ask this question. 90%+ of our profits come form one vehicle line. So what is driving that stock price? Is it like Hey we are going all EV by such and such a year? And what if in 5 years the public does not buy EVs in the same volumes as ICE then what? Bad enough we have to have subsidies on EVs to pay someone to buy it and now Billy wants the government to subsidize the R&D. Sad we bought a train station with no major investors, and now we hear talk about apartments going into that building. Hmmm sounds like a major screwup for that idea. But I guess if your name is on the side of the building you are not help accountable.

The stock market is a meme that only benefits a select few very wealthy people and institutions. For example: Toyota which rarely sputtered has a market cap worth less than Tesla. If that doesn't show how rigged the system is I don't know what else does. Honestly, the stock markets should be abolished and investors have to deal direct with the company they buy shares from. These financial institutions which add zero value have their soft hands in just about everything. You have to deal direct with the company the practice of shorting shares is eliminated (no company is going to loan shares of ownership to some slimeball wallstreet investor). I know this is naive thinking, but things will never get better until you throw salt on the leeches.

However you feel, I believe Wall Street is going to look favorably on "The Plan" given it's commitment to to building all hybrid and BEV's in 10 years. That seem to be where the money is flowing to in the auto industry these days.

Reduction in sales volumes, recalls, lawsuit costs.....won’t see $12 again for a while.

But, we need to release Q1 earnings in a few weeks. That will not help the stock price, or investor confidence.

Yep, it hit 13 when the last guy said that, but that only lasted a few days.

I'm still a buyer at $5. You are missing out if you have owned Ford stock in the last 20 years or so. Enjoy your dividend (what dividend?) while your principal stays stagnant or withers away.
