Thread regarding Xerox Corp. layoffs

Will Xerox Canada get better?

This is the question that many of the couriers were hypothesizing when I discussed with them that almost every staff at XRX is from a temp agency, except for maybe 5 or 6 staff who are segregated from the cage of temp employees.

One truck driver told me that a few years ago, his wife applied directly at XRX Canada for a job, but a temp agency replied with a temporary contract offer. He and his wife refused.

The couriers assure me that it will get better, in terms of the job market and reopening. However, will the same be said for XRX Canada in a post-COVID recovery?

Better for Icahn and his people in Bridle Path, Toronto, but not for you peasant. The CEO gets the bonuses and the activist investor Icahn gets the spoils of the loot.

Why these kind of posts????

Newbie staff with rose-tinted sunglasses who were fed a lie. They come here a lot. They were sold a bill of fake goods, just like the newcomers to Canada working for minimum wage or less at XRX.

Yes. But only for the shareholders, the elite Management, Icahn, JV and the corporate interests. You the common man get nothing but more work for $14/hr or whatever is the federal minimum wage in Canada.
