There are many rumors that there could be layoffs by the end of the week. I don't know anything for certain and I'm not trying to create panic, but I’d like to know if anyone has more details about the possible layoffs that have been talked about in recent days?
After all, it doesn't make much difference to me when exactly it will happen because it will definitely come sooner or later. I’m interested anyway.

The company is a complete mess and is going to go into crisis mode starting April 1st with all the people gone. Customers are not going to buy from a company on shaky ground like Hitachi Vantara. Pentaho / Lumada were a complete disaster bringing the company in a total disarray.
Is this current round of layoffs just DI or is DS getting hit too?
Seriously, what the previous poster said. I too, have exited. It is a great time to find new job and be paid what you are worth. Best to leave on your terms instead being spit out during the implosion.
It's a great time to be looking for technical roles in the US. A ton of companies are hiring... I left Hitachi last year and could not be happier that I escaped the mess there. Each year seems to be worse than the last... each new "leader" seems to be worse than the last. There is no positive path forward so get out while to market is good.
Sorry to hear. Start looking outside so you stay ahead and are prepared. .
When GK has his next Town Hall or VKOM if it happens, no one should turn up as that’ll send a message about how much everyone trusts him!

🤔 GFK laid off the Pentaho/ Lumada sales team and is offshore Dev to India. Must explains why no one can explain these product to you. Good luck!!! Pentaho/Lumada software was high margin- that’s why we acquire them. Services is 10-20% margin and hardware about the same. We are done as we pivot to services with 10-20% margin compared to software company. I plan to run....
I agree. thousands more do as well. Constant layoffs, Constant change in direction, inept leadership, buggy software, behind the market hardware, worst leadership, antiquited systems, worst company I’ve worked for in my 30 years.
