Is there anyone else who feels like he gave this company a lot more than he got in return?
In return, I was laid off, while the jobs were kept by those who did not deserve them nearly as much (not trying to offend anyone, but it is true) It was a big mistake that I will certainly not repeat again.
Putting the interests of the company ahead of your own, and I mean any company not just Allstate, is the dumbest thing people do, expecting it to be valued. On the contrary, in many cases it is even punished.

The sad thing is a lot of time areas aren’t ignoring us, they are in the same boat of doing more with less.
I feel the same way. It isn't like the old days anymore. No company deserves loyalty at the expense of yourself. Now it's all politics and they won't hesitate to cut people on a whim.
Don’t feel bad, you’ve been taught to do the right thing during a time when having morals and doing the right thing are becoming a weakness or liability. I had multiple “second looks” that questioned my rationale for supporting claimants. Those claims lost in arb. One claim was paid out over $100k due to csl and siu ignoring me and I was blamed despite a clear record of notifications and communication. I was chosen for rif despite several in my team having north of 90 overdue tasks and I had like 4, also someone got 3 dol complaints and kept their position and I never received a doi complaint. The company I was once proud to work for turned into a simmering cauldron of infected puss. Get out before august that when the extended ui benefits will run out and there will be tons of unemployed who took a six month vacation looking at the same time. Good luck
