I have been with Allstate 17 years and work closely with claims. It is sad to see what they are doing to claims and the people I have worked with for years. Either laid off or having their case load double. Things are in disarray with only a dark tunnel ahead. It is like we are going though a Demolition with no idea how it is going to work and be viable when they are done. I am beginning to think people who got RIF'd were lucky to leave in a lifeboat... we are left to go down slowly with the ship as the water streams in and things get worse and worse

How mangers will explain it is the claim department is on a plane that is being ripped apart but ppl in claims need to figure out a way to keep the plane from failing. No sense in continuing to work hard giving 100% when the powers that be will continue to tear apart at the plane leaving a shell of a once great company.
