Why would they have people come get their personal belongings only to bring you back?
Think about it.

If they make me go back... I’m job searching. More dollars spent on unnecessary stuff smh
To the person told you have to go back full time...which department/location are you?
Sounds like way more money for them in the long run to enforce all of this...
We were told we will have to go back into the office full time due to the drastic lowering of our numbers and production since moving to home and id–ts abusing it. :(
Hey ya'll! Don't forget the pretty stickers we have to wear to show we have been medically cleared and temp checked each day to be allowed in the office. And of course masks.
Also no cafeterias or vending services. And We will need to invest in good coolers and get used to bologna sandwiches for our lunches since no common kitchen areas and no common microwaves or fridges.
And of course masks all the time...
The post below mine close to nailed it. Allstate's requirements include app check in, temp checks at door, one directional hallways and stairways, designated bathroom times per person, elevators only used by those with verifiable disabilities, no public microwaves, coffee makers, or refrigerators, no smoking anywhere on campus including in your parked car, zero personal items not issued by Allstate on your desk, required deep cleaning/disinfecting of desk area before you log on and after you log out. They are suggesting employees arrive at least 30 minutes before log in and with desk cleaning plan to be there for at least 30 minutes after logging out.
Some departments but not many will be returning full time due to poor results and number in working from home and others will be hybrid with 2 or 3 days a week in office required. Some roles will remain full work from home.
At another insurer, the protocols involve limiting the number of people in a bathroom, arrows on the floor to tell you which way you are supposed to walk (kind of single directional loop), limiting the number of people in a conference room (duh), making closets off limits (I guess they don't want to clean them), limiting the number of people in an elevator (yeah, that's going to work).
Initially, they will probably stagger employee days in the office. Group A on odd days (or whatever) and group B on even days (or whatever).
Also, there's an app that you have to use to testify that you haven't had a cough in 14 days or a fevers or have covid or someone in your house has covid.
Yeah, it's going to be fun.
Oh, I think I've got a cough. . Can't come in.
What are the new COVID protocols if we return? I was hoping to go back hydrid but wondering if full remote is the way to go
Some campuses are having employees pick up their belongings as they are completely redoing and moving all desks and furniture and creating new floor plans and work areas to adhere to COVID work conditions. I know for a fact this is happening as I have been in contact with building management at one location and some departments are returning to the office around June. I have seen some of the COVID processes and procedures for in office return to work. Not fun....
