Interesting. As a former claim rep turned agent, I can see how this would eventually make subrogation far quicker and easier for everybody. That could be huge. If you’re not an agent, you have no idea how many policyholders show up after an accident and demand that WE handle their claim through the other carrier. They don’t think they should even have to participate in their own claim against the at fault party. They sometimes get really angry when we point out that there is no magic bullet for that.
