Thread regarding Allstate Corp. layoffs

Reading through the posts and thought to myself... It is a very sad situation when employees HATE the company they work for. It seems the stockholders and VP's would realize the environment they are setting for the company will cause it's success or it's demise. Employees giving 50% effort, undermining the companies goals, spreading bad will, and doing the least. At what point does leadership say "We need to turn this around?"

Me personally, I am patiently waiting / hoping to be laid off! I've done too many years to walk away. Pick me please!

Not to mention when my layoff becomes final I will drop all of my personal Allstate Auto, Home, and Life policies along with thousands of others. Sorry agents, feel your pain...

So i have to ask, how many people do they intend to keep in claim handling in america, after they sell their soul? Are they intending for a $5k a year person who has to work at 2am to be in american call out hours negotiating with attorneys for settlements?

Ive seen this with other companies, and it always amazes me, its as if the board of directors sought out a CEO to destroy the company for them slowly. Then allow it to unfold in front of everyone.

Either way i hope it fails, because if this works you can kiss claim handling good by in this country.

The other thing we can do is start a Union uprising. Most people on this forum don’t want to ....or is that the HR shills going in here to squash the idea. I’ve noticed several posts about unionizing mysteriously disappear. Hmmm

They’d fight the Union with every fiber in their beings. It would be fun to watch as they scramble even faster to move the business offshore. Bahhhhaha

They created the monster. This is the result of Transformative Growth. When Tom, Glenn, and the gang make it part of their plan to abuse and demoralize they deserve everything they get. Many of us employees are also making it a point to get as many customers away from Allstate as much as possible. It isn't very hard to be honest. And Allstate is paying us to do it. We consider this our "Transformative Growth". The more money we can take away from Glenn, Tom, and the shareholders the better. The days of abusing employees and lying to customers is coming to an end if we have anything we can say and do about it.
