In my mid-30s and joined SF about 2 years ago as a statistician/analyst in one of the hubs. Feel much of the work is slow and morale is not that high, although no much complains either. Now there are opportunities out there either in the same industry (e.g. an insurtech) or another industry (e.g. finance/banking or others), or it's still OK to stay in SF as long as I want to enjoy WLB?

If you’re bored, transfer into Claims where the work is ...

Here is the future of insurance. Decide if you fit in.

Well OP, you confirmed what most of us already knew - that SF could get rid of at least half of the analysts because most don’t have anything to do to the point of being bored. At least you admit it.
Fear by micromanagement does not work, has never worked, and will never work. SF spiraled out of control when started valuing technology over employees then laid off experienced, knowledgeable insurance professionals to save a buck. White greed on full display
I pay tons of premium for this? Sh– it down, the it awY from the elites, and give it to the forgotten ones.
You should always be sharpening your skills and keep your options open. There will always be changes but at least you will not be stuck if you have options.
These threads are cracking me up lol
I meet my metrics by lunch most days, I try to meet up with my team manager in the afternoon, we have a spot to spend quality time together, her spouse is a VP, she mocks him while we get it on. I love the farm,
I too give SF the metrics minimum. Whats motivation..more work for same pay. No thanks. They made jobs terrible not us. Keep it up losers. Im on cruise control!
I enjoy garbage in garbage out metrics. Its easy to manipulate. Most days i work the metrics minimum then kick back rest of day. SF you get what u pay for...
If you work at SF and have been enjoying WLB (which I assume to mean work/life balance), then what’s the prob? If you’re bored and want to know about working to death with no WLB, ask someone in claims or CCC about your dilemma. Like many people in these analyst type roles, you don’t really seem to understand how sh–ty most of the people have it at SF when it comes to volume of work, expectations, dealing with stupid/angry people, and getting time off.
