Some people did get more than the raises listed here, and they'd probably be willing to share, but these "no one is getting more than .8% and I'm such a great employee that my boss invented a level higher than 'exceeds expectations' and named it after me" comments will prevent them from speaking up. Most likely, someone in your area got a better raise than you think. So find out why that person deserved it over you. It could be corporate b—s— (so run!),or it could be justified. But the circle jerk happening here isn't telling anyone anything.

  • someone that gets good reviews every year and got 6% (aka a unicorn since I apparently don't exist)

I’m happy with mine. I don’t work in Retail and I know we were way busier despite not a lot of income being generated from Retail banking. But knowing what the bank had to pay to keep employees safe from COVID, any bump is a blessing. Be grateful or move on.

At long last, the compensation meetings have been scheduled. It’s telling that the meetings are happening just outside a week from when our paychecks reflect any change, rather than a month and change, as in past years.

Agree with below....it's a joke. Offensive to call these bonuses when we are in reality going backwards

It’s a joke. 2 percent raise max and 50 percent of bonus target? I literally will make less than I did last year due to the bonus cut. So most of us actually got a pay cut....

Guess the promise of 3% merit raises by Richard Davis former CEO means nothing to Andy, he would rather spend BILLIONS on stock buy backs which directly profit him personally than give working families in USB a helping hand. What a massive jerk, a true 1% percenter!

Private Wealth Management merit raise of 1.85%. Advised that ALL received that figure in our market. It only benefits the company to keep that private. Can anyone confirm?
Earned incentive payout was less than half of target.
Promised that next year would be better—not in writing of course. So essentially asked to forgo a year of earned compensation. It’s insulting. Stock buybacks and significant expense savings do not support this story.

  1. 5 to 1.3% max merit.....yes....THAT low. Bonus 50% of what you got last year. Am betting AC gets a lot more than the working slaves. He is laughing at all of us who take this.

It's laughably bad, 25-50% below target

Yes, the info is available and your manager should share the numbers by end of next week.
