I worked for the company and to start off this number is likely closer to 5000. My department was a medium size agency support group that was almost 400 people in July 2020 and as of Feb 2021 its down to 170. Half had their positions eleminated like my wife, the rest lost their jobs because the work was moved to other countries to save money with cheaper labor. The layoffs are bad enough but what k–ls me is the untalked about number of American jobs that have been moved to India. No one is talking about that. The American insurance company that days they want to put the American customer first, but at the expense of the American employee (most of whom are also customers). To add insult to injury for those that lost jobs, they lost more people from quiting on top of those they let go. The ones that are quoting because of overburdened work loads and increased stress. Now they are looking to hire replacements...

When the final tally of this Transformative Diminishment has been calculated over 10k employee's will have been kicked to the curb by choice or by attrition. The "Growth" part of this Transformation is still a mystery. Seems the only thing growing are the upper tier salary and bonuses. I will soon be one that will leave by choice to save myself mentally and physically. This company named after a tire sold at Sears and Roebuck has no tread left.
The Tom and Glen traveling circus show used the pandemic as an excuse to humiliate and layoff American workers the day after Thanksgiving. Heartless animals in top Allstate positions chasing dollar bills and displacing Americans ! Americans first ! Invest in America first Tom and Glen.
