With the cuts that happened recently and the cuts we know are coming down the line, my motivation is all but dead. It now feels like it's a question of "when" I'll lose my job and no longer "if" I'll lose my job. How is that a good work atmosphere? How am I supposed to give it my all in such circumstances?

You want us to go from this c-ap to your even more c-appy company.
Do us a favor and go recruit somewhere else. You make Centene heaven based after reading posts about your company.

Centene does not care if you are motivated or not. You're a name, a salary, and a bunch of benefits. In your unit, you are a box in a reporting line and working relationships.
Now that we have that out of the way....
Here is where you get motivation. Start thinking like You, Inc. Shift your perspective about you and your work. Stop being your job or your present title. Start being your own person who lends your time to a job in return for money and benefits.
When you start thinking like that, you'll take a load off your shoulders. When you put yourself in that frame, it will be easier to do the following:
- Do as much as is required to keep your job. No more unless it's reasonable or gets something more that you want, like a raise. Because...
- You'll redeploy that time to manage and develop You, Inc. That means snap up your resume, think about your career direction or what you want to do next, update your LinkedIn profile, get more training and updating if you need it or are pivoting.
And be quiet about it! Tell your family, but not your co-workers or boss. It's not their business.
You, Inc. is your priority, not your work at Centene. Your family and personal/spiritual life have a higher priority. And so does the job search.
