Anyone have any insight or guesses who will be the next to go? I thought Centene employees would be safe because other companies were bought by them, but it seems like most of the layoffs are Centene employees. Any idea who might be next to go, since we know they’re not done :(

Medicare dept hit hard too
If they haven't been eliminated already, any departments that overlap Centene in acquired companies, e.g. finance, payables, IT, sales, compliance, corp comm, operational, executive, etc. That's just about everything. That also means that Centene workers may be fired based on whatever priority management wants to assign. Since Centene has already outsourced marketing, include that too.
The Meridian Offices in Michigan and Detroit were hit extremely hard with the layoffs last week. They are trimming down the sizes of all the companies they acquired. Idk how we will function with everyone gone
There were health plan folks as well.
I have no idea. I believe it’s just random at this point. I was also a Centene employee. Everyone that I know that was let go, was also the same.
