Thread regarding Centene Corp. layoffs

"The Release"

Hi I was wondering if anyone else was just given an email when they were notified of their layoff and told to sign off immediately and their access to Centene terminated.

I was, and just provided with an email with my benefits, how much severance and last pay date, however I was not provided with a copy of the legal release as per the below paragraph as there is no one week prior to my separation date, as was a one stop shop ..If anyone knows if this will be provided via mail or to my home email as I did not even have a chance to update Workday. I have been laid off before, so I know there are some legal forms to complete and send back in order to obtain your severance. The company also should provide you with a list of ages /gender of other people laid off.

I am fine though I have another job, I just want my money and to be able to move on, and I am trying to avoid a call to HR and waiting on hold for probably like 4 hours. If anyone has an answer I would more than appreciate it..

You will be provided with the Release via your work email address approximately a week before your last day of work. Please print or email the Release to your personal email address as soon as you receive it to ensure that they are readily available to you after your Company email access ends. The Release is an important legal document which details certain rights and claims to be released, which you should review carefully and consult with an attorney, if you choose, before signing it. You have 45 days from your termination date or the day you receive the Release, whichever is greater, to review and consider the Release. You may sign and return the Release at any time AFTER your last day of employment, up to the 45th day.

The Agreement includes 3 documents, one of which is a list of the ages of those who were terminated (and those who were not), along with their respective job titles.

FYI to all those asking - I just received my Agreement via Company e-mail today with my termination and last day being tomorrow, 3/4. Advised you cannot sign it until your last day and it is recommended you forward it to your personal e-mail ahead of your computer access being cut off. I’ve already received my office cubicle belongings shipped to me and am expecting boxes to return all my WFH equipment in via FedEx. Will include my ID badge cut in half, although building access was cut off the day I was terminated on 2/10. Worked another 3 weeks using remaining time off in order to not forfeit severance package. Company will not pay out sick or vacation pay, although I was told I’ll likely be eligible to receive my March bonus. Severance includes 2 weeks for every year, 3 months COBRA subsidy and career transition services through LHH for 30 days, which I chose to put on hold until I’m ready. Two members of my team of 10 were laid off, but we admittedly were the weakest links as far as productivity goes. Upper management likely forced my Supervisor to choose which two to let go, but she did tell me it was not her decision. I only know of two others from other teams in Fidelis Clinical Services in Buffalo who were let go, all of us Nurse Case Managers. We were told all these months when the rumors started that our jobs would be safe.

There is a list of names of those laid off? Never heard of such a thing, where is it?

Has anyone from this 2021 round of layoffs actually received the "Severance Release" letter as promised? It has been two weeks today and I have yet to receive. I want enough time to review this for any clauses, etc.

CCS Medical AVOID. And CCS Medical this is NOT a Job posting site. The Moderator should delete these job posting places. Your Glassdoor reviews are hideous.

You will have to call HR and have all forms sent to you. What they did was dubious legally as well.
