Thread regarding DXC Technology layoffs

Mike S is in over his head and floundering

His lack of C-level experience is obvious on the inside. The last couple of layoffs were supposed to help with the margins, but they underestimated the level of turnover and they are now faced with a shortage of resources to deliver. Couple that with the exodus of sales staff and Q4 is shaping up to be a much bigger failure than expected. Is it really hard to see that the same people that were advising Mike L, are the same people advising Mike S? It wouldn't be hard to see that the same programs/strategies of today are re-branded, failed programs from 2015.

It's amazing that Mike2 can come in with that over-inflated sense of confidence that people get working for Accenture, yet he's as much of a disaster as Mike1. His strategy seems to be to spout meaningless propaganda, in an attempt to distract from him bringing in his pals to pick over the bones of a dying company. It's like being taken over by gangsters.
A key problem is that he's been cutting away at the business, reducing staff to reduce wages (operational costs) in order to create temporarily inflated perception of profitability. But it hasn't worked. Shares are STILL tanking, absolutely rock bottom, while Mike2 is laughing his a$$ off and raking in the cash.

Sally is over his head. Relying on Ross Perot legacy business with 2% profit to stabilize stock price volatility is not a long-term solution. Moving more work to low-cost countries LCC is not a long-term solution. Look at any Enterprise client including DXC customers and they are full of Indian MNC multinational corporations from TCS Wipro Infosys HCL Accenture. DXC hardly has exclusivity at any client minus some legacy CSC clients. the whole business is 200 to 300 clients 50% of revenue comes from 200 clients 66% of revenue comes from 300 clients yet they brag about 6,000 7,000 clients. The number of clients over $100 million in revenue per year is less than all my grandfather's fingers and toes and he was in the war and got his foot blown off. Sally is over his head there is nothing innovative there is no identity nothing long-term what does adding purple to black and white do for you. Bringing in accenture programs what does that do for you. If you wanted to get rid of Lowry why didn't you spend a year searching instead of going to prom with your cousin. he signed a 5-year contract and he will sell the company in seven and a half years just watch
