When precious posters talk about “claims operations moving to Pune”, do you mean adjusters, processors, etc? People handling the actual inside claim handling?
My manager in my office, is so non-transparent, they can’t even tell us our office is closed..

Are BI litigation adjusters considered a specialized and or legal group?
“Compliance and investigations” all SIU functions outsourced. That’s how G4s markets

@cgp+19spx6hB Thank you for sharing. Was the SIU vendor “surprise” that will be replacing all SIU work G4s, Conventbridge or Ethos.
@jhs.....Every single area of claims was not specifically stated in the conference call and that may have been by design. However they did praise the work that is being done to train and license India employees for auto and property adjusters and explained the "importance" of stream lining notice of first loss to that as well. It seemed to me that the specialized claims areas that would remain onshore is the legal aspect and some state specific roles. The vendor that was brought up was a surprise as it sounds like they may be taking the current investigation units and state compliance matters. The online customer self service for claims was not much of a surprise as they have been pushing this to supplant the current Express role. Honestly I do not know all and what is moving overseas but it sounded like pretty much all claims functions aside from the legal, state specifics, the vendor work which scream replacing SIU, and whoever they have to help maintain the self service online customer process although that may be going there too. It was a pretty sweeping move as was stated. Sorry I do not have any more clarity.
Please define "specialized groups" for property. From what your comments state, it sounds more like processor roles, instead of actual writing estimates, and settling. FNOL is not an adjuster position, so it is confusing. Is the condo unit going to India? Is boat claims or BB splits going to India? What about virtual wind/hail claims? There is a lot not being said here.
Thank you so much for the reply !!
Wow, definitely need to get out of here.
Based on the monthly leadership meeting for claims this morning it sounds like by sometime in 2022 all claims aside from some legal and specialized groups will be moved to India. This includes notice of first loss and auto/property adjusters. A vendor will be handling investigations and compliance and online self service for claims between the shops and customers will be expanded and rolled out.
