my position was eliminated back in 2020 from the transformative growth and was offered an Esurance position to stay. WHAT A JOKE ESURANCE IS!!!!!!! that is the next spot to go. I ultimately left allstate franchise as a whole and I AM SO SO SO SO MUCH HAPPIER. this job was constant worry of job security - things constantly and always changing - if you have an opportunity to leave or just not even get into this mess at all STEER CLEAR!

The same thing that happened to Esurance will happen to the folks at Nat-Gen. Independent agents will not tolerate the toxic behavior of the Allstate culture. Moreover, Allstate does not have a good track record in the independent channel. This is evident of the deteriorating Encompass book.
Esurance was actually a pretty decent company to work for until Allstate officially injected it with their lethal dose of poison after their acquisition. Even many months after Allstate purchased and still running independently it was fine. Then after the Allstate talons dug in it went to total Hell. Morale plummeted, attitudes soured, work got all moved around and it became unbearable to keep up and meet goals. Sound familiar?
Luckily I was a casualty in the 2020 RIF and couldn't be happier. Got my severance and had a better job at more money with a smaller regional insurance company within 30 days. Severance went towards a house down payment and some new toys for me and the family. Now at the advice of friends still with this horrible company I come here a few times a week to see the train wreck in action. You all deserve and can do better. Get out now and don't continue to go down with the sinking ship.
And Allstate claim is being moved to India in the next 12 or so months so they also are not safe.
None of us in any area are safe no matter how important we think we are.
All of Esurance claims will be absorbed into Allstate by end of summer so you are not safe
