Today's leadership meeting was quite telling and made it pretty clear that almost all of Allstate claims including most auto/property adjusting, will be based in India and customer online self service with claims will expand between customers and shops. A new vendor will be used for some claims functions as well including investigations and compliance. Seems timetable for full completion is some time in 2022.

Allstate has declared India operations just and extension of US operations. Therefor the employees there can be licensed in most states if they pass the same requirements. This is the same basis of how we have gotten India employees licensed in P&C for several years now. There are a few states that do not recognize this but it is not enough states to save a lot of US adjuster jobs. A skeleton crew left compared to adjuster staffing now. We are actually in the middle of the licensing process in India for adjusters and many have obtained those licenses. With all this being said once this process is complete in training and on boarding India claims I fully expect to be one of the casualties along with most US based claims departments. Probably early to mid 2022.
How can Pune handle claims without adjuster licenses? This is insane if Allstate is able to pull this off and move all claims adjuster jobs to India. Other insurance carriers will follow suit I bet . This is a huge blow for American workers . I hope Tom
And Glenn burn in hell for this .
