COP Alaska's Willow Project Stopped

No need for 50% of the AKBU now. Time for you to line up for layoffs
like the rest of us.

Some entitled sounding people replying in here. COP can’t work if the government says no, and they are saying no. Time to dust off the ‘sell Alaska’ plan like all the other non-shale assets in the portfolio. Hope you all like working for Hilcorp, since they are the ones who tend to buy our ‘legacy’ conventional assets in the US.

To the not-Einstein. did you read the article? Willow stopped for stopped now. Will at the least delay the project for a year. Current Fed momentum does not appear favorable to Willow Project. Obviously, you're a manager because you cannot understand what is written. Reductions in Alaska BU needed to spread the pain fairly and in light of the AK projects not occurring at all.

Stopped currently, may not be stopped all together. Also no where close to 50% of Alaska is on the Willow project. Also normal years 25% of the entire companies revenue comes from Alaska. Furthermore less than 1,000 employees so we are obviously doing something right.

So did you read anything past the title or just the title? If the former, you are without a doubt in management.
