If I’m sitting at home without electricity will they still be able to lay me off? Is it true all ELT members have back-up generators at their houses, paid for by the company?

Generators and private planes for evacuation during weather events. Also company issued gold handled toothbrushes and plush TP
Cannot believe how clueless several of the posters here are. The envy ... is exceeded only by the ignorance.
ELT meeting was cancelled today due to power outages, so obviously they don’t all have back up generators.
Will you be using a vacation day if you are at home and unable to work? If you are, then they'll wait for you to be working again to share the news with you.
