I know layoffs are done but I can't help but worry about Monday and what might or might not happen. I guess my trust in this company and management is gone. I've been burned one time too many and now whatever they say I can't get myself to believe it. I know others are feeling like this as well. I'm guaranteeing you this'll affect productivity. Happy employees are good employees, and miserable ones? Centene is about to find out, I guess.

I totally understand you.....
I am not being callous, but Centene is all about money and headcount. They don't care if you are happy. They rely on fear of job loss to keep workers in line and working to the max. Work and meetings on Monday will go on regardless. In a few weeks, when everyone's departed and the work's been redistributed, there will be a kind of collective amnesia and blocking out about those laid off. The sheet is pulled up over the body, and life goes on.
Does anyone remember the layoff of the entire marketing department of over 100 people, which was quite a hot topic here last year? Right, didn't think so.
Be smart. Be ready to go and leave under your own power if you can..

I totally understand. I was let go last week. I also heard there are two more rounds. When, I don’t know. There are also others on the thread that was told they were safe that morning, and let go that evening. I’m not sure what area you are in though. Or, them. I’m in Missouri.
Layoffs are not over! Have you read people who were told they were safe were laid off? Layoffs will continue and if your not liked, not an a– kisser, and speak up, you’ll definitely be laid off!
