NONE of the Brits working at CoP will be laid off!! Cushy management positions have been found for all! Only colonials will be affected! After all, with absolutely no CoP assets in Great Britain or the North Sea it makes sense to get rid of L48 natives to ensure the Brits are not inconvenienced in any way by being made redundant. God does speak with a brogue!

Good show!
COP leadership is a oxymoron
Jasmine was symptomatic of every major project (if we can even call that a major project?!), you do enough to make the economics work to get it approved to advance your own career. By that time we’re too pregnant with the project, made big promises to Wall St; but point forward economics always look great so let’s keep going. Does anyone ever stop and cut bait and move on? Heck no.
It’s not just British leaders in the company, plenty of Americans, African, Venezuelan Canadian and even some choice Australians are bad at it.
Schlumberger Mafia!
Straight from the people who brought us the Jasmine fiasco, oohh the yellow flower. I think one works in EF now.
Haha this is funny. I think the people who build the GOM deepwater portfolio were American but might as well blame the Brits for it eh? If you’re going to whine like little b–ches on here then at least get the story straight on it.
You let one brit in they will bring in 100. Just like the colonial days.
I like how they have infiltrated Eagle Fart and Permian, as if a Brit knows anything about onshore unconventional oil production. I mean heck they never knew anything about offshore oil production as the GOM/Deepwater fiasco showed us. I like how the exploration leaders of that failed voyage have kept their jobs while the drone bees are all about to be exterminated. Its hard to drill wells when your leaders have never drilled a well themselves.
The definition of insanity is continually doing the same wrong thing and expecting different results. Until the UK mafia is run, COP is insane and will never change.
Eye spy someone who is bitter....
DF still around? Worthless!
Tally-ho Alaska Office. Chop Chop
Also, reminds me of that "great" exploration townhall featuring the diversity of two women managers, never noticing the fact they (and the man who spoke) all had the same accent ...
Indeed.
Quite.
