I know some people are already being notified and I envy them. I don't want to spend the next two days stressing and worrying about being laid off, that's not good for my mental or physical health. There's no need for this. Thousands of people will have their anxiety reach record levels for no reason at all. If you're gonna lay us off, do it right away. Don't make this big announcement and then let us stew. That's simply being cruel.

55+ years old male. Axed today. My most recent performance review (delivered a few weeks ago) was stellar. Go figure... I was not expecting it and this place never cease to amaze.

I am an older worker who just got the boot from Centene with no warning, after just receiving a glowing performance review 3 weeks ago. The performance review stated what an asset I am to Centene! If this is how they treat their assets, I would hate to be a "slacker" worker. The termination was done so methodically and robotically, with the management person refusing to answer my questions, but referring me to FAQ's. WTF! How very inhumane and unkind from a company who states they are dedicated to being person-centered regarding the nursing home residents. Perhaps management could learn a thing or two by practicing that same ethic with their "asset" employees. I'm so over this company!!

It is mean. Just a while ago we were told all was well.....now this.
Plus Im in a rural area. Where am I to find a job that pays even close to as well???
