Mattel was basically lucky. It is one of the few companies to which the pandemic has brought good things. I am grateful for being relatively carefree while there are mass exoduses happening in other companies. However, I wonder what will happen when all this is over, when there is no more pandemic? Are we going to go back to where we were before the pandemic, when I thought the company would surely fail?

Surely you jest! Our fearless leaders would never credit the pandemic with saving Mattel. It was their cultured insight, planning, experience, critical thinking, and lightning response to this fluid situation which let our management team LEAD THE WAY through this difficult time.
