Who is IPI and how do they get away with doing nothing?
The IPI team does nothing.. Our boss told us to just lie about our timesheet and say we worked 50+ hours a week.
They need to get rid of useless groups that still remain. Engineering and field techs are the heart of how things we get done. (Along with project management and some sales groups)
Get rid of these straggling groups and people from legacy enterprise premise and UCaaS teams.
The resources from these teams that were worth anything were let go. Our company always expunges the wrong people and resources
Engineering is overdue for layoffs. It's about time they catch up with the rest of the company. Too many overpaid people with nothing to do.
Time studies are BS, management will correct anything not in their parameters of need. Layoffs will occur due to performance of numbers just not related to work performance. Thought the nepotism would be shot after bankruptcy however it still flourishing. Booking my vacation time till later 1/4 of year for guaranteed month of pay.
We dont do these time studies annually the same time every year. And they certainly wouldnt want this sample now when there are no capital projects taking place.
we have layoffs every month. this is just there regular annual time study our external auditors make us do to justify the rate we capitalize our labor at.
because every year it leads to layoffs
It comes every year. How is this unexpected “bad news”?
Yeah, its never good when there are time studies or company wide inventory projects. Bad things on the horizon.
More accounting tricks.
Capital project where we can depreciate gear? Well kids, TT uses this 3 week snapshot to depreciate labor expenses.
Now, if I'm doing work on maintaining UNITI assets, will we bill them for it? Or do we skip that since we're responsible for maintenance? Or is there an accounting trick with that too?
Like others I am just waiting for my package. Work has slowed and I'm trying to find things to do.
I frequent this page a few times a week looking for updates. No one is in an office right now so this is the new water cooler conversation. I don't use teams anymore because my conversations have been brought up in a group meeting when I thought they were private between a co-worker.
I quit caring
Ready for my ticket. Send me home and away from this mess.
