Contracting Agencies are getting free money for just forwarding resumes to conocophillips (to get their worker start working) and doing payroll every 2 weeks. For this simple type of job these contracting companies make 20-30$/hr per person. Conoco should follow Cenovus and setup their own subsidiary to perform these tasks and save $30000/ person. That would save MILLIONS being paid to these Contracting Companies. This is easy saving money idea. ARE THESE CONTRACTING companies paying BRIBE TO the CONOCO employee who handles this department to SURVIVE?

That's the cost of transferring the liability to another company, as well as being able to hire and fire at will. Less protocols, which come at a much higher cost.
Actually your numbers are way off much lower margin than proclaimed above. Sorry to burst this thread
