Thread regarding Whole Foods Market Inc. layoffs

Not even a raise would keep me here anymore

After several years spent in this company in which I invested a lot of effort and loyalty, I realized that it is no longer worth it. I wouldn’t want to influence anyone’s decision, but working in this place is really humiliating and it's one of the worst chains.

The amount of work and what they pay you is in absolute disproportion. However, what’s worse is that this is an ideal place if you don’t care at all about your health, both physical and mental.
Precisely because of my deteriorating health caused by daily stress, a big increase would not mean anything to me.

They had to raise pay to $15,all the minorities got started at lower wages and got lower % rates on raises...they had it in black and white and still do...they used Amazon as a cover, guess what...Nothings changed.

i really think they screwed up with raising the starting wage to 15$..i think they should have given everybody a 1$ raise and then given more money to labor budgets in general...maybe keep gainsharing floating to a viable figure monthly to help us understand the greater glory of sales and labor capitalism...mackey always loved good wholesome capitalism...bezos wants a supply of worker ants and nothing else....

Systemic psychological abuse is what the management has in place at the WFM stores. It is very unhealthy work environment.
