Allstate is shedding customers at quite a clip....
In response, I am sure that they will increase unobtainable goals and crack the whip as opposed to looking at Wilson/Shapiro decision making that gutted the claims department and destroyed any ability to compete in customer service...
No, Allstate...customers do not want to pay exorbitant prices to do all of the work of claim handling so you can lower your expense ratio.
No, Allstate..angry and overworked employees...the face of your company...will not deliver service that meets or exceeds customer expectations on your current environment.
No, Allstate, customers will not put up with it when they have lower priced and better options...
It did not work at Hartford, it did not work at Liberty Mutual...and as you are seeing by the stampede of customers......and employees..it is not working at Allstate......Glen likely is already for his next company to destroy.
So....raise those goals, crack that whip, write those UN’s to further demoralize your employees...but don’t take any action on the real root causes of the beginning or what could be a very dire time at Allstate.....

Right on! These fools pay me $65,000 a year to play PlayStation and drink beer. I think I put in maybe 3 hours of actual work a day. I say let it burn. LOL.

I'm with the poster below. Allstate no longer deserves full effort and no where near close to 100 percent. I am personally cruising along at about 75 percent. Would do 50 percent if I could but my manager is a blue kool aid drinking b^^^^ who would be all over me. Just collecting my check and praying for a layoff package. And to the home office brown noser you ARE the problem. Regardless of how important you seem to think you are Glen and the gang don't give a flip about you either. You can be thrown away just as easily as any of us. Performance, effort, caring doesn't mean flip to the powers that be so why bother? I am going to take their money doing as little as I can as long as I can.
You are part of the problem if you are giving 50%.... You should have been let go in the prior waves... I get it, the entire place is burning but if you are cheering it on and throwing fuel on the fire, you deserve to be gone.
I can't wait for the day when I flip to CNBC and see those glorious words "Allstate Bankrupt" or "Allstate sold". Even if it means in the unlikely event I have not been already laid off or fired as a part if their "unacceptable performance lay off without severance firing scam" losing my job. I am just here for a paycheck doing 50% half assed work anyways smiling and nodding at my boss who also no longer gives a squat. Allstate has demoralized the employees enough to a point where he hope and even do our part in assisting the company to fail and the sooner the better.
