If your job was eliminated - you didn’t get an assessment. I understand - obviously I’m no longer there - but was told some jobs that were eliminated hav been re-banded with an updated job description to get the position at a lower band/salary
Another"over 55, 35 years, BTE last 5 years" here and fired also. Layoffs started a few months afterwards, HMM. Attroney said I had a case but he didn't wan to take on Allstate, knew it would be a 10 year fight.
Over 55, 35 years, BTE last 5 years. I had too many PTO days, salary too much in their opinion. Job eliminated, no assessment
Armies of lawyers recommend and review what Allstate can get away with. You can rest assured they have covered their a$$.

Aside from the assessment, companies that pull this also make sure to layoff a token number of people not in the protected class they are targeting to cover themselves as well.
What do you think the assessments are for?
It's cover to fire who they want.
