Short of wholesale embargo on China, impossible to prevent anything made in America (or any country) from being used maliciously by CCP. They may be using American screws indirectly or directly to build weapons. A computer chip is smarter than a screw and the scariest proposition of all would be to build 'malicious actor detection' inside computer chips.
Be specific. Does Intel sell chips directly to CCP for their violation of human right? Or, more likely, CCP buys servers, desktops, and laptops with Intel inside. How can Intel know or decide whom to sell servers, desktops, and laptops with Intel inside? Why single out Intel? There are many American high tech companies doing business with China. Why single out China? There are many countries violating human rights and buying servers, desktops, and laptops with Intel inside. Don't forget that US government and Wall Street condemned by human right and social justice movements buy servers, desktops, and laptops with Intel inside.
Intel’s responsibility is to the shareholders. There is no space for ethics, etc. China is a huge market for Intel and Intel should not be lecturing them on internal security matters.
But you get to decide which toilet to use, plus free fruit!
