Someone has already mentioned it nicely here, the USAA has missed the opportunity to adapt to changes for years. I absolutely agree. The technology we use is completely outdated. Worst of all, those who should do something about it don’t seem to see a problem at all, or think it’s just a minor problem. I don’t know how else to explain the fact that we are lagging so much in these things, but I know that outdated technology is holding us back a lot.

So true. It was also one of the deficiencies listed in the rational for the recent fines we got hit with. Upper management seems totally chaotic in the compliance side, completely changing things every week or 2.
