Thread regarding Allstate Corp. layoffs

The fact is, there is dead weight at Allstate

The only problem is they're never the ones who get the boot once it's time for layoffs. Imagine how great this place could be if for once they decided not to cut people based on how much they make but based on how much they contribute to the company? Why is that so hard to do?

Allstate has a long history of promoting based on the best personal “fit” for the manager and not the business. Those that have demonstrated their unethical ability to not disclose their higher ups toxic/inept behaviors and do not pose a threat to them are rewarded with advancement. This long standing behavior is the downfall of Allstate and I’m enjoying watching every second of it, you reap what you sow dirtbags!

Easy answer. Because if they went truly by overall worth to the company and contribution Tom Wilson, Glenn Shapiro, and most director level employees on up would be out of a job. We certainly cannot have that now can we?
