Thread regarding Mattel Inc. layoffs

What would be your reasons to resign?

I have been working here for more than ten years and if I pass without dismissal in March, I will certainly resign myself because I can no longer stand the atmosphere created by the bad management. That really bothers me and I’ve already started looking for alternatives. This company used to be incomparably better. It's a pity what has become of Mattel.

Self absorbed mo–ns believe there are no other jobs out there and Matt-hell is the “Best Ever!” Find another job. Mattel is done and unless you are willing to stay, kiss management a** and milk it like everyone else, you will be better off somewhere else. Life goes on without this sh*thole. Contrary to what the corporate bots tell you.

COVID era work has been the best Mattel experience to date. Go ahead and quit.

Good pay. Good benefits. Good retirement account. Don’t feel like looking for another job. Staying as long as they’ll have me. Bye and good luck!

California has 9% unemployment. New York has 8.2%. Nebraska has 3% unemployment. Conclusion: move to Nebraska. Bonus, the average house in Nebraska costs $170,000. What are you waiting for?
