I keep hearing February is the next round of layoffs. Any truth to that?

That person I believe was let go.
I would wager that it will be 3/1. That gives the new CEO a few weeks to disseminate his wishes to cut costs to increase profit. 4th Quarter profits were down to 2.2 billion from 3.5 billion 4th Q in 2019. Huge drop. You know it is all about the investors. That is all that matters to the Board.
My bet next Thursday 2/11 will be the day. Reviews start 2/15.
CEO David Wichmann "retired" today
I haven’t heard anything, but we will see what today brings.
I know mine with be this Thursday. Just got a special meeting with my boss. Never happens.
Well, I qualify for the layoff. I have been with the company a long time and I have plenty of knowledge. That puts me first in line for the layoff pool.
I thought if I hid under my desk I could avoid it. But working from home has prevented that.
Once I get my paperwork I cannot post anymore. There are provisions regarding saying anything negative when accepting a package. That includes this site. So, here is my goodbye. Good bye.
If anything, they’ll be Wednesday/Thursday notifications. They generally don’t do them on Mondays.
Wonder what happened to the person from last year that knew all the exact dates. They sure were accurate. I am sure somebody out there knows...wish they would say. It’s agonizing waiting for it.
