Does anyone know if it’s possible to be rehired after being SRD’ed?

You'd have to look at the wording in the agreement that you signed.
I took one of these from Chrysler, in 2008.
The agreement was that I could never be hired by Chrysler again.
Of course, technically, there is no more Chrysler, so ...
Anyway, point is, check the wording in your agreement.
I know of three people who were let go when Ford did involuntary separations in 2007 who were later rehired. Two came back as a contractors and later became a direct hires The other came back as a direct hire. All three came back to different jobs in their old organizations.
What man or woman with any self-dignity would want to work for this company after being SRD..??
Same thing I've seen so far. Maybe in 5+ years after the fact it'll be possible, since I'm aware of at least one GSR who took a buyout in the 2000's with a "no longer eligible to be rehired" clause who was hired back on full time about 5-6 years later.
I have seen SRD come back as contractors. I have not seen a rehire to permanent. Maybe someone has been and can chime in.
