I'm sure every club is having the same issue with not enough handhelds. My problem is we were told to download BYOD which most of us already have done this over a year ago and most of us have old phones so it freezes and tun slow. When you ask a lead or a mgr their response is there is no more available. Regional need to have the CM give a count of the handhelds and if the number is less than required they should be ordered to order more. Club pickup should have 6 assigned to their area a day. Our members and associate deserve to be a priority. We are literally dying trying to work with 3 handhelds a day!! I love my job but this is just ridiculous. Sunday is the worst day to work due to all the members come at once and there isn't enough handhelds to keep up with dispensing the orders. This issue need to be addressed and fixed immediately. I'm not even going to discuss my supervisor. He s—s and does the bare minimum when he is scheduled. He skip over the large orders and does 1 small order at a time. Just a waist of payroll.

exactly...unless sams starts paying a portion of my cell phone bill....no work app will ever be installed on my personal phone
Our store got new handhelds called Tc 52 and they are only for curbside they are kept in accounting office they have Bluetooth finger scanners and a wrist holder for the TC so you are not holding them anymore you scan everything with the finger scanner and the Tc is on your wrist
California sued to make sure that employees were compensated and insured for using personal phones. The same thing happened when they tried to only give you 2 shirts for a uniform and made you buy more if you wanted to have enough for one work week. That also applied to the khakis. So call your attorney General or labor board and fond out your rights in regards to using your personal cell phone
Unless this multi billion dollar business wants to pay my monthly cell phone bill, I suggest they get the equipment to do our job efficiently.
I refuse to use my phone for work. A multi billion dollar company can provide me with a handheld to use if they want orders filled... if not, I guess the orders will be late
