I've been applying non stop to other positions for months now and I haven't even gotten an interview just always a no. In the last year in the appeals dept I only know of 1 person moving out of the dept to another position. Anyone know if it's just me or have they put a freeze on promoting out of appeals?

A number of areas have direction to only hire offshore. Mostly Ireland- where they know it all. The US members who use UHC might find other coverage if they had all the facts.. UHG is run by sneaky s-bs. They don’t care about members, employees or anything other than the stock price

That's because UHG polices them. If they see something posted that speaks the truth they have indeed remove it. Probably under the pretense that it's "slanderous" to the company's image or some other contrived BS.
I was in in appeals for many years and started applying for positions out and got (no’s all the time, no interviews) . I was very suspicious of there handling.
I am leaving UHC because I hate this company so much. Does anyone know why the Glassdoor reviews seem so overwhelmingly positive? This place has been the most toxic place I've ever worked. Unbelievable. Require 45+ hour work weeks just to survive with zero appreciation at all of their employees.
My boss got a promotion to another department. But they are not replacing her, which is an absolutely vital role. They have put a strange structure in place instead of replacing her.
I’ve applied for a few jobs and most of the time get a no. The two jobs I had interviews for were closed. I have wondered the same thing. I believe for whatever reason they hire from outside. I haven’t Worked at such a terrible company in the entire metro are and I’ve worked at several large companies. Believe all the negative things you’ve heard about this company, they are all true and more. The employees actually make up things about you it’s so back stabbing.
