The year's not over yet...
In my 20+ years there were probably 4 times where very excellent quarters were followed by an absolute crater and layoffs three months later.
Just like the supposedly big layoffs that are to happen 2021.
We don’t need pay anymore because we will own nothing and be happy. Or else. It’s called the Klaus Schwab slavery to save the world plan.
Management is looking for new blood, fresh graduates to replace old timers. This will translate into cost savings. What better way to get rid of old guard dogs to leave voluntary through pay cut as it hurts the bottom line of those management don't want to retrench as it translate to cost of retrenchment payout

Why waiting for 2022? There is no point to keep so many old folks in SSDC.

Sigh......can't wait until this pandemic is over and you school boys find something else to do.
