Thread regarding Allstate Corp. layoffs

I'm not meeting their goals and metrics. No one I know is meeting them. And none of us care. Just keep paying us Glenn and you will get what we give you.

I've gotta admit, the fact that a lot of people apparently find it difficult to meet their goals makes me feel a a little better about probably not being the first on the chopping block.

Not hard, I just do my job 7 hours a day

This is what the candy crush tests were all about really. Identifying those who can adapt to money saving "wham bam, thank ye ma'am", and the slackers who are still trying to do things like it's the 20th century.

I'm not. And I bet most of my team isn't, either.

It bothered me at first, but I'm beyond the point of caring. I'm not going to k–l myself for a company that can get rid of me tomorrow.

Hustle, Allstate is all about fast and cheap, they don’t want quality estimates, write sh– you can see and choose the absolute cheapest sh– that comes up in the locator, even if it’s the wrong part, upload and on to the next one. They can always put a supp in. I’ve been doing this for a year and got a meets expectations and a raise. It’s literally what they want, they pay me so I’m going to write how they want me to, stop hemming and hawing over whiny shops and agents, hustle time!

It is a part of the plan..they want your life to be miserable so you quit before the next round of layoffs are announced to avoid the severance.
