Can confirm nurses In care management getting laid off.
Can we get more info on this, please? How big will the round be and when is it expected to start? Also, will it be strictly care management? I worry about layoffs all the time as it is but knowing something is coming without having any details is stressing me out so much more.
they are outsourcing most of the claim department as well ! lay-off people ( around 30 ) at the time every six months . Don’t expect transparency from Cigna .. everything is hush hush .. they have a good marketing team .. they don’t want to look bad.. meanwhile David C made 16 M in compensation.. cutting cost making shareholders happy .. greedy corporations
I am an inpatient case manager and I also heard 17 IPCMs were laid off yesterday. I asked they were anticipating more layoffs but didn’t really get a straight answer. We were told to keep our performance up, which to me indicates they are at least still evaluating more possible layoffs.
I heard they laid off 17 inpatient case managers yesterday, with severance.
And sent a bunch of facilities to offshore.
