That's obvious from knowing who they decided to lay off. Some of the best employees who made sure their job got done and helped everybody else were cut while those who spend most of their time twiddling their thumbs are still here. Do they really think this will not be reflected in the results down the line? Incompetent fools.

Completely agree. After working for 3 health plans, it’s absolutely mind boggling how utterly inept senior leadership is here. It’s sad really, because the employees/lower level leadership just has to shut up and do what we’re told while completely incompetent uppers run the show and strategy. In the end it’s the members and employees that lose :(
From what I'm hearing that is already happening in my former department in the form of provider complaints, health plan complaints and frustration from the departments we partnered with to ensure our jobs were done correctly. The inept senior director and her minions will first throw the lesser employees under the proverbial "bus", then realizing that their time is about up they'll start looking elsewhere, and inevitably leave the department in a shambles. It is still unreal to me that a company this large has so many incompetent "leaders" that have no business getting paid for jobs they don't know how to do.
The external audits, QA, state, federal complaints will be telling.
