I think that’s the biggest reason most people are still here.
I have a younger colleague who is super talented and is here only because of his character, that is, he does not like change and would not like to change anything.
I understand why those of us who are a little older feel that way, but I do not understand such apathy in younger people.

WTF are you even blabbing about? No one likes change, but it’s a reality everyone has to face and adapt to, especially in Riverbed bc leadership doesn’t seem to know WTF they’re doing, so they’re just trying all kinds of sh– to see what sticks.
I don't know that wanting some stability in the middle of a pandemic counts as apathy right now. Even then, for a lot of people this is just a job. People have kids and hobbies and don't want to be defined by their work. Once they've found something "good enough" why wouldn't they stick with it? Just be glad you have a colleague who's super talented and NOT looking to jump ship.
